By using WorldSnap you agree to these terms. If you do not agree with them, please do not use the service.
You must be at least 16 years old to create an account.
An account is required to open the map. You give a first name, last name, username and email address, and you are responsible for keeping your password to yourself and for anything done through your account.
You can delete any Snap, and your whole account, from within the app at any time. Deleting the account starts a seven day wait during which you can still cancel it; after that it is permanent.
You keep every right you have in the photographs you post. We claim no ownership of them.
To show a Snap on the map we need your permission to do a few specific things with it, so by posting one you allow us to store it, to make a smaller copy for the map to load quickly, and to display it — along with your username, profile picture, caption and the location you chose — to the people your privacy settings allow to see it. That permission covers nothing else. We will not license your photographs to anyone, use them to advertise, or show them outside the service. It ends when you delete the Snap or your account.
By posting a photograph you confirm it is yours to post, and that anyone recognisable in it is content to appear on a public map alongside the place it was taken.
No explicit nudity or sexual content, no graphic violence, no weapons, and no hateful or extremist symbols. Nothing illegal, and nothing that harasses, impersonates or endangers another person — including posting someone else's exact location without their agreement.
Do not scrape the site, automate access to it, or try to reach data you were not meant to see. Posting is rate limited; repeatedly working around those limits is itself a breach of these terms.
Every photograph is scanned automatically before it is published, and anything that fails the scan is rejected. Automated scanning is imperfect in both directions, so any user can also report a Snap, and reports are reviewed by a person.
We may remove content, and suspend or permanently ban an account, where these terms have been broken. Where it is reasonable to do so we will say why.
If a Snap uses your photograph without permission, or shows you and you want it gone, write to support@worldsnap.pro. Tell us where the Snap is and what the problem is, and we will review it. We would rather hear from you directly than have you find out there was no way to reach us.
WorldSnap is provided as it is. We do not promise it will be uninterrupted or free of faults, and we are not responsible for what other users post.
To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect loss arising from your use of the service. Nothing here limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited.
We may update these terms. The date at the top of this page changes when we do, and continuing to use WorldSnap after that means you accept the new version. It is worth re-reading this page occasionally.
